Biography

Heidi Oliver, CPNP, IBCLC is a dedicated board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner. She has a passion for supporting children and families from the newborn stage through adolescence. With extensive experience in pediatric healthcare, she is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that helps children grow and thrive. Prior to earning her Master of Science in Nursing, she spent several years caring for children at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in the NICU. She brings an additional six years of primary care experience to Rainbow Kids Clinic. Her favorite part of pediatrics is the ability to create relationships with families and helping children become who God created them to be.

In addition to her pediatric training, Heidi specializes in lactation support and breastfeeding medicine. She developed her passion for helping mothers with breastfeeding while working in the NICU and enjoys helping families navigate feeding challenges, establish successful breastfeeding, and feel confident caring for their newborns. Some areas that lactation support can help include difficulty with latch, pumping, supply concerns, and tongue tie evaluation. Her approach is supportive and tailored to each family's unique needs. Heidi earned her MSN degree from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. She grew up in Clarksville and is excited to be back home, caring for children and making a difference in our community!

Hobbies & Interests

In her free time, Heidi loves spending time with her family and is active with her Church family. She is newly married. She enjoys traveling, running, hiking, and cheering on the Tennessee Vols.
