Biography

Jaclyn Perez attended Austin Peay State University in 2003, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then worked as an emergency room nurse for five years before earning her Master of Science in Nursing from Austin Peay State University in 2008, allowing her to practice as a certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

Jaclyn started her pediatrics career as a Nurse Practitioner at Blanchfield Community Army Hospital and then joined the team at Rainbow Kids in 2018. Since joining Rainbow Kids, Jaclyn has continued her medical education at Murray State University, earning her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2022. She has also completed a mini-fellowship through Vanderbilt State University, in which she became certified to do autism evaluations.

Areas of Notable Expertise and Interest

Jaclyn has taken a specific interest in pediatric behavioral health. Jaclyn has notable expertise in treating patients with autism. She also does evaluations for pediatric ADHD, depression, and anxiety.
